Privacy policy
Boundary Live is run by Boundary Live. This page explains what we collect when you use the website or the Android app, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. Last updated 31 October 2026.
The short version
- Scorecards, team pages, player profiles and tournament pages are public. That is the point of the site: anyone can follow a match.
- Your email address, mobile number and password are never shown publicly and never sold.
- There are no adverts and no advertising trackers.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account settings, or by emailing boundrylive@ce.digital.
What we collect
When you create an account
Your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password (stored only as a secure hash). You can add a photo, nickname, city, country, date of birth, playing role, batting and bowling style and a short bio to your player profile.
When you play or score
Match details (teams, date, ground, toss, result) and every ball scored: runs, extras, wickets, who batted, bowled and fielded, shot direction and commentary. Also your availability for fixtures, team selections, match fee status (amount and whether it is paid; we never handle the payment itself) and tournament entries.
When you use the site
- Cookies that keep you logged in, remember you if you tick "Keep me logged in", and stop the same person voting twice in fan polls. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Your IP address, briefly, to block repeated wrong password attempts.
- If you turn on phone notifications, a notification token for your device.
- A record of messages we send you (reminders, results), so they are not sent twice.
Why we use it
- To run the service: scoring, live scores, scorecards, stats, records, rankings, tournaments and team management.
- To let you log in and keep your account secure.
- To send the notifications you choose: match reminders, team selection, live moments, results and match fee reminders. You can change these in Account settings.
Who can see it
- Everyone: scorecards, commentary, team squads, player names, photos and stats, tournament fixtures and tables. Search engines can list these pages.
- Team captains and managers: availability, selection and match fee status for their own team.
- Site admins: account details, to help with logins and fix mistakes.
- Service providers who deliver messages for us, only when you use that channel: our email provider, Google and Apple's push notification services, Meta's WhatsApp service and our SMS gateway. Our web host stores the data. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it and how to delete it
We keep your account until you delete it. Match records are kept so scorecards and other players' stats stay correct.
To delete your account, open Account settings and use Delete my account, or follow the steps on delete your account. This removes your login, email, mobile number, password, notification settings, devices, photo, date of birth, city and bio straight away. Your name and the runs, wickets and catches you made stay on the scorecards of matches you played, because those belong to everyone in the match. If you also want your name removed from scorecards, email us and we will replace it.
Children
Boundary Live is meant for adults and teenagers who play cricket. Children under 13 should only use it with a parent or guardian, who can create and manage the profile for them. If you think a child's details were added without permission, email us and we will remove them.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and only admins can see contact details. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use elsewhere.
